Still Sunday is the creation and passion of UK artist, Ruth McLean. Born from her love of pretty patterns, ditsy florals and bumble bees, Ruth took the plunge into the world of greetings cards back in July 2019, encouraged by the interest of friends and local shops. All designs are carefully hand drawn, taking inspiration from an eclectic mix of traditional china sets, her extensive personal collection of Briton tees and, of course, the beautiful Dorset countryside which she calls home.
From its humble beginnings at Ruth’s coffee table, painting designs for her daughter’s bedroom wall, Still Sunday has grown into an iconic collection of greetings cards, well-loved across both the UK and New Zealand alike.
A combination of ink lines and pastel watercolours, Ruth’s cards boast a range of charming characters and intricate patterns, printed on responsibly sourced, luxury textured board. Covered in an ever-growing collection of dainty ducklings, mischievous mice and, without fail, plenty of buzzy bees, these endearing designs offer a card for every occasion.
